Gurumaharaj : But can anyone tell you anything about those long lost stages of evolution that none ever witnessed ? Only the omniscient and wise persons can give you graphic descriptions about all these stages.Thus, our scriptures suggest,” Mahajano yena gatah sa panthah. ” ( We should only follow in the footsteps of the great liberated souls.) Those noble souls only can tell us the truth about this subject. If you are willing to know about the lost history, you should sit at the feet of such noble being and ask reverentially about this. In every era such great men are born for the welfare of the mankind. But people often fail to accept them and oppose them. So, they cannot derive anything from their blessed company. As the society is not ready to accept these noble beings, they depart from this world leaving their works unfinished. Again and again they have to reincarnate to finish their noble missions on earth.
Enquirer ( Taking cue from the previous question) : Then what are the roles of the Sannyasins in the present times?
Gurumaharaj : Now the Sannyasins are performing the duties of the ideal teachers in our society. After the moral decadence of the Brahmins, Sannyasins were compelled to take up this role. What are you thinking? Is it so easy to grasp the true spirit of Bharatbarsha ( India)? This country is full of mysteries! This country is executing the infinite divine plans of God! This country is the brain of the world! So, it is the source of all teachings for the world! All streams of education fall within the purview of the education policies of Brihaspati, the preceptor of the gods and Sukracharya, the preceptor of the demons. Each of their teaching is perfect. But in the absence of competent teachers no application of their education get reflected in today’s society. The Upanishadik teachings centre round one thing. That is discrimination. They arrived at a conclusion about everything by finding answers to all the rudimentary questions. That is why Upanishadic teachings are acceptable in every age and in every country. But look at our country’s miseries!
Rishis like Shandilya, Kashyap, Angiras initiated their traditions. Yet there is no end to the miseries of the Indians! While wandering in the Himalayas and different parts of India I asked the saints and great men about the precise reason for this. I also wanted to know when my motherland will rise beyond this. Most of them either avoided my question or kept mum.
Later after my Sannyasa initiation I asked my Gurudev Ramanand Avdhoot about this.He said, ” TIME is very powerful.” [To be continued…. ]
