Jagannath Daa worked hard very much. He was very robust as if a sculptor sculpted him cutting a stone. Jagannath Daa, Sahadeb Daa belonged to schedule tribe. Their sub- tribe was chain.Guruji said to us that they were kshatriyas by caste which was under the lineage ‘Chandra’. When the construction of Ajimgunj junction station started, then they came here. Later, some of them got jobs in the railway, some of them carried loads, some of them pulled hand-carts, some of them chose other professions. Depending on such these various occupations, the people of this community started to live in Diyar- Mahinagar adjacent to Ajimgunj junction station. Guruji loved Jagannath Daa very much. On the other hand , Jagannath Daa also respected Guru Maharaj very much. When Guru Maharaj stayed in Ajimgunj Ashram – Jagannath Daa spent the time in Ajimgunj Ashram, keeping himself aloof from his working place or household duties. Jagannath Daa stayed in Ajimgunj Ashram as a quick, active volunteer to help Guruji. He cooked in Ajimgunj Ashram, kept ready hot water for Guru Maharaj’s bath, washed Guru Maharaj’s clothes, folded the dry clothes and kept these clothes in the exact place. After these works, immediately he went to the market by cycle with Bijoy Daa – in a nutshell, Jagannath Daa worked hard very much. He worked all these having a smile on his face. Jagannath Daa always had a smile on his face. Jagannath Daa’s front teeth were high a little bit. That’s why, it seemed that he was always smiling. Sahadeb Daa also belonged to Jagannath Daa’s community. He also worked hard for Ajimgunj Ashram but he worked managing his working place and household duties. In this case, Jagannath Daa was unique. Mentioning the ‘riot’ incident held at Rasberulia Ashram, Guruji said to us, “I saw a large number of people in the place in which a fight is taking place. I am hitting a person whom I am getting in front of me and I am trying to disperse the people. Then Jagannath always stayed beside me. He has perhaps received one or two blows by me but he has not fled leaving me alone. My saffron clothes worn sannyasi devotees were far away from me but Jagannath was always beside me or just behind me.”
