Emotions have arised in the mind of the many devotees during saying of this topic. The devotees had heard ‘Ramkrishna connection’ from Guru Maharaj himself.They have heard about this fact from many maharajs after passing away of Guruji. The devotees have also read about this matter in the writings of some special devotees such as Ramen babu, Sridhar babu, Joydeep etc. But, now I will tell a fact which most of the devotees do not know.
It is need of a prelude to say it- few years ago, a group of Paramananda devotees was set up well centring N’kaka and Bolpur Ashram (Adityapur).
The open nature, the maharajs of this ashram and the amiable, free minded attitude of the inhabitants of this ashram attracted us well. This was like to get back the nostalgia of the old Banagram.
N’kaka went to this ashram regularly for few years and a large number of devotees gathered in this ashram centering N’kaka. There was a special characteristic of the devotees of Birbhum. It was – the devotees of this place used to gather to N’kaka whether they were the disciples of any other guru.
There arrived Debkumar, Bhuthnath and Indra Da from Howrah.(It was the fact that I was introduced to Debu Da at the Sir’s house in Srirampur before.)
Debkumar Da told us this incident. They were attached to Belur Math since their childhoods. Indra Da was initiated to Swami Bhuteshananda Maharaj (a former president of Ramkrishna Mission) when he was young. Later, he obtained a government job but he remained bachelor. He stayed at Belur Math mostly rest of his time except his duty period. He served the maharajs of Belur Math.
One day, when he was serving Swami Bhuteshanandaji, then Swami Bhuteshananda suddenly told him, “Will you see Thakur (God Sri Ramkrishna) in your own eyes? He was reborn. If you want to see Him, then you go to Banagram Paramananda Mission alighting at Memari station. You must go and see.”
Indra Da went to Banagram and he informed Swami Bhuteshananda also of his meeting with Guruji.
Indra Da had communication with N’Kaka and he also went to Banagram sometimes.
I am facing a problem when I am writing ‘Banagram Memories’ because of ‘Ramkrishna connection’. Guruji spelt ‘jhyamela’. (Jhyamela is the dialect of the Bengali word ‘Jhamela’. ‘ Jhamela means problem.) Guruji spelt some words in such way- for example, Homaipathy (Homeopathy). I think, He obtained this matter from His own mother. Once He said to us that, “it is said mothertongue, Man realises the words heard from his mother.”
I come back to the main context. He said to us, “you will find 3 parties in case of any fact- own party, opposition party and neutral party. Karl marx said- thesis, anti thesis and synthesis. The men who are the supporters of neutral, they are able to synthesise and at a result, they enjoy the fact. The rest two parties suffer troubles..
I said about a president of Ramkrishna Mission earlier. Now, I will tell about another president of Ramkrishna Mission. I listened to this matter at Banagram when Guruji was alive. The many of the devotees gossiped about it. It was the fact that one of the devotees asked the then president of Ramkrishna Mission ( Swami Bireshwaranandaji or Swami Lokeshwaranandaji), “hello, Maharaj – we come to know reading the many books related to Sri Ramkrishna that Thakur will be born in the northwest (Burdwan i.e Bardhaman) after 100 years. It was fact that 100 years were already spent after His death. Then why are you not searching Him and arranging for Him to get Him back His rank?
Swamiji answered, “Oh, one Ramkrishna was born 100 years ago and what activities He left for us we are facing problems to complete it, we are not getting any leisure. Thus, if another Ramkrishna arrives, then what will be the situation of us, have you thought??? So, there is no need to accept new Ramkrishna. Let’s this life spend with the old Ramkrishna.”
