Gurumaharaj : Again the same obsession over the prophesies made in the ancient text manuscripts and almanacs! This is the domain of those who make calculations based on the position of Nakshatras and the Tithis as laid down in the almanacs. But if you ask me I can tell you that there is nothing like the tenth or the last Avatar. Avatars will keep incarnating whenever there is any necessity. When the consciousness level of the beings of this planet gets elevated, they will be able to sort out any problem on their own. Then there will be no need for such incarnations. Then their presence will be needed in different planets. This is why it is said that Lila or the Divine Game is eternal.
There is no end to this Divine Game. When one is over, another begins. If you ask me about the Kalki Avatar, I can tell you that He is not some hero on horseback in war fatigue wielding an open sword. Actually the running horse of the Kalki Avatar symbolizes His tremendous speed. His white war fatigue and white horse stand for truth and purity. The concept of Kalki avatar points to the Yuga Avatar who is the embodiment of truth and knowledge. His life will be very dynamic and he is always ready to dispel the ignorance with the sword of divine knowledge. He will smoothly travel from one part of the world to the other. He will disappear after a very short stay on this planet completing their divine mission. Very small number of people will get to know Him. Most of the people will never be blessed with His blessed company. Later people will brood over this fact by saying, ” He was so close to us but still He remained inaccessible to
us!”
In our holy scriptures Narayana has been referred to as the first Avatar.He incarnated in the Satya Yuga as a brahmin wearing a saffron cloth.In the lineage of the noble Gurus Narayana, the King of Vaikuntha has been mentioned as ‘ Narayana padmabhabam…’.Narayana has again been referred to in the Mahabharata. When King Judhisthira’s Rajsuya Yagya (a sacrificial rite) nearly came to an end, a mongoose whose half of the body was pure gold strayed into the yagyabhumi ( a place where the sacrificial rite was taking place) and started rolling about there. Then he said,” The sacrificial rites of an ideal jagya has not been performed properly here !”
Everyone became astonished! How could an insignificant creature like a mongoose pass such an insulting judgement on such a grand yagya performed by the noble Rishis in the glorious presence of Lord Sri Krishna himself ? While everyone looked curiously at Lord Sri Krishna, the mongoose started relating a tale from the Satya Yuga.
